Oh I'm sorry you thought I was "yelling". I guess it could have come off like that, but I promise, I wasn't, I was just trying to clear something up... so it's OK.
This is still 2 1/2 weeks away, and it's not even a competition, and yet we're still talking about it anyways
I guess I thought it was funny that it caused a little bit of a stir in the show choir nationals forum I just had to say something cause I'm silly!!! I still really wanna see all of them though!!!!

I am so sad that I can't go to Fab 5 this year.... This is the first year since 1994 I was not in attendance (and that's because I think it started in 1995). I'm trying to do the math. This is the 13th Fab 5... is it not?
Also, order tickets ahead of time. Don't count on buying tickets at the door. Rarely is a Fab 5 performance not sold out.
That is true, I always forget that the schools don't really practice for Fab Five and aren't as crisp as at competitions. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

I kind of agree on the Prairie issue... but they were VERY strong at Great River. They did receive 8th... but all three judges had them in finals (6th,6th,4th). They also will be the last Cedar Rapids show choir to compete this season on Saturday at the Grand Rivers Invitational in La Crosse. So, they haven't been sitting around like the other show choirs might have. I'm hoping they pull out a decent performance. I was really impressed with 2005... but last years was nothing to write home about in my book.

Tickets are on sale for $10 at the U.S. Cellular Center Ticket Office. Tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at (319)363-1888 or at www.ticketmaster.com. If available, tickets will be sold at the door. Proceeds will be shared between the participating show choirs.
I am hoping to be able to go with some other Xavier peeps and see some great show choir (STILL haven't seen Linn-Mar). Anyone else plan on going?
