there were no daytime awards for two a

O'Gorman recieved the Sportsmanship Award
Best Male soloist was from Millard West West in the Groove
Best Female soloist was from Vermillion Rhythm in Red

I think that was all of the awards...

I really wish that I could have stayed for finals, but since i blew out my knee, i sang my solo before finals and then left. Congrats to East, and a special congratulations to my OGorman group, you guys have an awesome show and I really wish I could've seen you at finals

My take on things:

GC: Sioux City East
1RU: Sioux City Heelan
2RU: Millard West
3RU: Sioux Falls O'Gorman
4RU: Vermillion
5RU: Aberdeen Central

It should be a good competition. I am still contemplating whether I should drive 9 hours in two days this weekend to come back...I really want to, but I'm not sure yet. Good luck to all competing groups!

So we've got the following groups:

Sioux City East
Millard West
Sioux Falls O'Gorman
Vermillion, Groton, and Aberdeen usually come, so I'd expect they'll be there.

Mitchell won't be attending this year It falls during our week of dinner theater and that's the last night.

A group of us may come down for the afternoon though! It isn't very far down the road
