yea usually its just done by the way ur setup is on stage..if i remember right its sumthin like if u have scaffolding or weird setups with different crazy risor configurations u usually go earlier then like 3 and 4 tier risors are after that or something of that nature...its set up that way 2 stay organized really..so it really has nothing to do with location

WOW!!!! I hope someone would like to change.

I just don't understand, you live like 5 to 10 min away and you are like one of the last groups!?!? WOW

Cabell Midland is hosting states, so i think we automatically have to go last... and everyone else was pulled randomly outta a hat... thats the only way to be fair about it.... everything is soo political these days, im glad at states its completely random considering just about every other competition, the direcotr in charge just picks the order however they want it, but im pretty sure no one is gunna switch with you if they have a good time slot near the end like that....

the host group always goes last...it's always been like that...I personally think the host group should go first...but that's just always been my view on it.

we did get one group to switch with us in 05, so unless somethings changed it can happen

yeah, i remember ur director offered to arrange and choreograph our entire show for the following year if we would switch with him cuz we were 3rd to last.... u got sumone to switch, but u paid them or something like that.....

plus.... it has to be approved by the state chairperson, and i dont see all that happening in the next few weeks... i would just plan on getting here early... dont get me wrong... i hope u can work sumthing out and get someone to switch with you, i just cant see it happening realistically

Theres no way of changing it... The WVMEA PEA members decided that the order for perforiming at states is based on risor configuration and a random drawing... soo basically its unchangeable.... but dont take my word on it, maybe someone who actually knows will post something...

i would suggest coming down the day before

i dont see it changing

On that schedule it says that Morgantown is performing first. We live 3 hours away, how is the chosen????

I don't think there is a set way they do it, I know one year they did a random drawing.
