i might have joined SCC today, but i guarentee that i have been in show choir longer than u have and competed a whole lot more. So if u are questioning my knowledge u might want 2 check ur own.

i just want to say that yes carmel is a good choir. but they are not great. I mean just watch the guys number and it is obvious that they cant really dance. yes they do sing weel, but it is easy 2 sing well when you have armography. I could care less if carmel was a dynasty in the 1980's or 90's because last time i checked this is 2007. I think that carmel was probably the 4th best choir at state this year and that is just how i feel. I could care less if anyone thinks this comment is mean because i am just bein real. After 1 year of competing i wouldnt even attempt to call them a powerhouse. and half of the people that are commenting on this topic have probably not even seen carmels show this year. so please know what u are talkin about before u say somethin.

just because a group can pull of a "HUGE closer" does not mean that they leave the impression of or have a great show
she wasn't criticizing the show, just sharing her personal opinion about the costumes...
the costumes didn't lose Carmel competitions but they didn't play a huge role in it either, I'm sure at least some of the judges thought it was not a factor
but all of this is MY OPINION and I'm not criticizing anyone....just commenting...
I'm somewhat sorry if this offends anyone.... But I'm sort of under the impression that's what any kind of background or set are for, creating a more sophisticated aesthetic that will help leave a better impression of the show. Otherwise, what use is it? So then why do so many more eastern choirs use sets if judges aren't effected by showmanship through costuming.

Can u LET IT GO... And I did comment on other things..I wasn't very impressed with their vocals through most of the show besides the ballad..were u not looking? So yes I did say something good about their show... God forbid I say somethin bad about CARMEL. Yeah they are a great show choir but this show NO i didn't care for ...O WELL..
