The finals at South Jones were $50. So my guess would be $50 again....unless they realize that Clinton is a moneymaker and they decide that their video quality suddenly became worth $80.

O lord i can not breath, that is a lot...$50...better have Clinton's Spring Variety Show on there..

By the way if you steal one Chris give me like a secret sign so i can borrow it to burn on my comp... " border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />

I am SOOOOO upset that I won't be attending the Homewood competition this year... It's gonna be a good one. I was planning to come just to watch, even though "Imagination" won't be there for me to see, but I can't make it because of a very important prior commitment. So upsetting- but still, be looking for some West Jones alumnae to be in the crowd representin'!

Who is doing video for SCC this year? Procat? And do we have any idea what the price for the Finals competition will be?

You miss interpret what I was trying to say. I did see both shows and they were very good, but the response I posted to was about JA coming out of nowhere and being the next Long Beach at Homewood this year. Which is what happened a few years back when Long Beach first started competing. Where I can see in the next year or so JA will be a huge contender in competitions there is still some room to grow. I was in no way claiming that they were not good or trying to tear them down. I really enjoied there show and I really am amazed at how much the group has developed in the last year. Also, did you not see the comment I made about how the group had really good points. Please don't take things said in conversation as personal attacks....because I am the one of the last people on here that is in the persoanl attack business.

haha we wish we were the next long beach. but i'm glad yall had some nice things to say about us! yeah, its only our second year but we love it. i can't wait to see yall all at homewood!

JA was NOT Class A last year.
And yes....JA is not Long Beach....hopefully you saw them in FINALS..Much better show.....And the band is quite terrific!
FOr only the first time for this show choir to be on stage this year...first competition of the year ...and I believe that they only went to one competition last year...I would say pretty darn good for them to come in 2nd place of 14 show choirs in their class and make it to finals with only hitting the stage twice!!! Let's encourage them!!!! Not compare them!!!!

I'll see Jackson Academy tomorrow at Petal. They are only an A school this year and last year was their first competitive season. They were AA last year so maybe they might have something to bring to the table.

Jackson Academy has some good points, but after watching them yesterday at Petal they are not the next Long Beach.

Enterprise might could take that spot at Homewood, but in my personal opinion West Jones is better than Enterprise, which means that Spain Park must be better than Enterprise. They have 50 people on stage and it got confusing at times. They were steller though.

Ummm....predictions.....

GC-Clinton
1st-Petal....they have improved so much since South Jones and they were just exhibition last night
2nd-South Jones
3rd-Pascagoula
4th-Spain Park

It would not surprise me at all if Jackson Academy is the new Long Beach this year; I wouldn't count them out either.

My thoughts exactly.

Opelika has also had Great success at SCC. A couple of GCs and 1RUs over the past 5-6 years.

Opelika really does have a history of turning it up at Homewood, and it would be sweet if they did it again this year.

The winner of the "AA" and "A" division both get a lock into finals, and then we take the 3 next highest scores. I don't really think anyone has a lock into finals, except Clinton; South Jones and Petal have very realistic chances, but no one has seen Tupelo, Opelika, or Enterprise this year. Albertville could also surprise some people by getting into finals. It's pretty much how does each judge like each group's show and how that group performs in Prelims. The "A" division will be tough to decide, but Spain Park and Pascagoula are going back to back helping the judges get a better comparison between the two groups.

yeah.................hopefully i will get to see enterprise tomorrow @ petal, but i have seen pascagoula twice and they were amazing..............really...............great vocals..........visuals and everything else was on point and their choreography is really good and they make it look so good on stage......................i saw albertville twice at south jones comp and they were really good.............but it will be 4 weeks since ive seen both of them.....................it is so excitin' because you never know what is gonna happen

And since noone seems to be mentioning Opelika (including myself), I'm going to mention them. They could challenge Enterprise, Albertville, and Tupelo for that Finals spot. Opelika has also had Great success at SCC. A couple of GCs and 1RUs over the past 5-6 years.
