I hear ya, Ben...... It would be really sweet if Beavercreek could get here, then all we would need was Fairfield. THEN it would be on. But he told me 5th period that the short notice would be a huge problem with getting anyone to fill in. He'd probably start by filling in Central Crossing's spot since they were the latest group to cancel, so they would at least get to go later.

This is seriously the Battle of Ohio! The winner of this should be crowned ultimate GC of the state.

no one else had better cancel...

I hear my director is on the phone trying to see if people want to fill in. I know Beavercreek was first up on the waiting list.. that's be sweet!

But what are the chances of a whole choir being free of obligation tomorrow and able to be at CFHS at 9 in the morning ready to go...

Well kids, the inevitable axe has fallen. Central Crossing, Millersport, Walsh Jesuit, and Cloverleaf have canceled. We'll miss you! Well, let me rephrase that. My director says that Cloverleaf is coming, but not competing. So, I don't if this means that they are performing but not actually competing, or they are only coming to watch. Well, we'll still miss you.

Some good has come out of this, however. Solon, I'm hosting you!!!! Since Millersport was my group (and they canceled ), the hosting jobs got reshuffled, and I was assigned to you! It's gonna be really fun, I can't wait.

Well, guys, I will be on tomorrow night to update you on results. I know Ben will be too, so we'll see you then.

shoot i really hope not! i wanted to see their show, i know that they were amazing last year.

Hey, just curious, does anyone from Cuyahoga Falls know who's hosting medina?

You should have seen their show two years ago, oh man. It was simply amazing. Their theme was perfection, and thats all I really remember, besides purple lights, really pretty costumes, awesome vocals, and awesome dance. Don't worry, as far as I know that rumor is no more then a rumor, I talked to my Twinsburg friend last night, and she said they were going. I wish I could make it to watch ... good luck everyone! This is going to be an amazing competition.

I'm a senior, and I remember the perfection show, but man, when I was in 8th grade I saw them for the very first time, i guess that was 4 years ago. I don't remember what their theme was but they did "Wierd Science." and it was the most awesome thing I've ever seen. Maybe it's because I was in 8th grade and hadn't really been exposed to show choir yet, but still from my memory, it was awesome

Just wondering, does anyone know about the weather for this weekend besides FRIGID!!! " border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />          <~~ Bundled for Saturday

You might wanna bring some extra bundling! The paper says that there'll be a high of 17, but we're coming off a rather large ice storm, so there will probably be some remnants of that. Also, our boiler sucks, so don't count on the school being very warm. My advice - bring a hoodie.

Findlay "First Edition" is possibly the most underrated show choir in Ohio. You may have been bored by last years show, but try to tell those kids that their dynamics, diction, blend, band, and dancing, weren't absolute perfection. I think it's wrong that you say that you doubt they'll suprise you against the groups going to the classic. Findlay too, has a GC already won this year @ West Clermont in November. They beat Center Grove, Beavercreek, and Piqua for that award. And those groups could all easily challenge Teays, Twinsburg, or Medina. I think it's Findlay's game just as much as it's those three schools. It's going to be interesting to see who wins Best Vocals, I do have to admit. Teays, Hurricane, Findlay, and Medina are all very accustomed to winning that award.

I do think they were very good. Hence why I said "Another really good choir" and "You did very well with your show last year". Heck, why did they take GC at Brush last year if they weren't really good. However, I don't think they'll surprise me much this year. I expect them to do very well (as they always do), but I don't think that they will blow me away like some other groups probably will. If they do, and they win GC, that's truly awesome for them. But it will be a tough fight. A group that is really used to winning GC's will come home with a 3rd RU. It might be Findlay, it might not be. It's anyone's game.

But anyways, I'm majorly pumped for this weekend! I cannot wait! But I'm so mad because I want to see Solon, but I can't. They go on right before Millersport, who I'm hosting. (I heart you Millersport!) It would be sweet if they made finals because then I could finally get to see them. Twinsburg also goes right after us, and I want to see how they pull off 'driving' as a theme during finals.

To Twinsburg, how do you pull off 75 people in your choir?! I know that includes band and crew, but kids, it is gonna be a tight fit into Mr Roth's room! It's really not that big. Good luck with that one.

See you all on Saturday!!!!!!!!
