It appears there's been a mistake. Albertville will be competeing at the Danville Midwest Classic in Danville, Illinois on February 3. No Best of the South for us. Sorry. Best of luck to everyone!
Mano y Mano is correct.........it is Spanish for hand and hand.
The interesting thing about this competiton is that there are 5 slots for the finals so Middle Mix is going to be where the groups are going to "bring it on." Which by the way I hate using that term, but I could not think of anything else to say. You have Northeast, West, and Oak Grove who will all be on top of thier game, but I know the director at Hattiesburg well and if he has worked as I know that he has with this group they might be back up to where they were a few years back....we will just have to wait and see!
I remember when I was younger and competed with Lumberton. Hattiesburg put on some very nice productions. It would be nice to see them return to that level of competitiveness. And I totally agree with you. The middle division is full of groups who got a taste of success last year, and really want to continue with that success. I think that's a great thing, becuase that in turn means that the overall level of showmanship and talent will increase. Oh, I can't wait.... it's going to be just AMAZING!!!
