Everyone did such a wonderful job. I mean every single group was on thier game. Talent last night really shined from every group. And, I'll agree with previous posters; the parents and students at West are extremely nice and supportive. Everyone was very helpful. Even though Carey is a smaller venue, West Jones was organized to the T, I mean, they had a method for every single procedure. I'm glad my group took part in the event, and I'm glad that West choose to begin a competition. It's just great to see more and more competition opportunites rise in the south. I can clearly rememeber just 4 years ago, there being Prcc's contest, Petal, and South Central (I'M sure there were a few more) The south has come so far, and West Jones just adds to that! And of course thier Exhibition peformance was spectacular. I love what they did with thier novelty number, "Trouble" it was just great!
Congratulations to everyone!!! it was a good night! I only stayed for the prelims, but it was still a freakin awesome competition... the people at West were so sweet, and for it being their first comp i think it was ran very well.

well, back to the competition saturday since this is what the thread is about, I'm really excited!!!!!!! good luck to all the schools! Lumberton wasn't originally on the list so i'm sure the whole order of everything has been changed around. anybody FROM WEST JONES have a updated list??? i know the small mixed division consists of Lumberton, Columbia Academy, Bay High, and Wayne County (from what our director said).
I'll put an official list on here tomorrow.. Then I want to see predictions...

You do know that Belmont's performance choir is also named "Company", right? If not, that could be where all this confusion is coming from.
Otherwise:
What prior engagement could there be? I'm pretty closely involved with SJ, and have no clue what JCJC, On-Stage, Belmont's "Company", and South Jones "Company" have in common for this weekend...
As of this moment, South Jones will be competing at West Jones this weekend.
Tony, when every comment you put out there seems overly cocky too, or seems to attack someone, you can only expect responses from others to be in the same manner.
And, I'd say if you're going to post a schedule for someone else's competition, you not make decisions such as removing groups from the schedule without consent from either the host group or the group being discussed. I wouldn't warrant meer workplace water-cooler gossip as a valid reason for doing such a thing.
