Unfortunately Omaha Westside wont be making it back these year... much to the dismay of many of the returning member... We had a great time last year and wanted to return but because of travel expenses we couldnt... but good luck to everybody that will be their this year.

What competition is pleasant hill going to in nebraska?

ummm...im not sure of the competitions name but it is in Lincoln, Nebraska...Feb 3rd....and we heard its a new comp this year...or maybe a new school...not sure...but im pretty sure our director said its a new competition this year...

but we are all very sad that we wont be attending Troy this year...it was ALWAYS one of my favorites

but anyways.....what all has been decided on who for sure is going to Troy??

DAVENPORT NORTH
NEVADA

Yeah, the last few years Smith-Cotton's been pretty dissappointed with Troy. Thing is we're SO much better this year than we have been in the past, so this would be the year for us to go. Weird... I know. We're going to Quincey, IL instead, this the same weekend.

Lincoln Southwest "Showdown" most likely. My group was supposed to attend it last year, but it was canceled due to lack of interest. After their varsity group made such a big splash last year, I think they had a lot of interest back into doing a competition.

That is a possibility, but another one would be Gretna, they are also hosting a new competition this year, and they really aren't very far outside of Omaha. Personally I haven't heard of any other new ones besides those two.

(sorry, I know this is supposed to be about Troy's competition)

One of my friends in Hillside told me, but I can't remember the name of the competition exactly. I know it's in Omaha, and it's a new competition this year. I know it's not Westside's competition, but something else. I'll ask.

There's 5A in Missouri?

I guess that means Davenport North will be in whatever is the highest division.

Yes, we have 5A, but it actually goes all the way up to 6A because of town like St. Louis and Kansas City.

1A-2A-They are normally in the same cateogory because there's not many of them.
2A
3A
4A
5A
6A
B-Women's groups, or if there is more than one mixed choir group they are also put in this category.
