I just have to say this, I've seen it too much in this thread. Cedar Rapids has MORE THAN ONE show choir.
In fact there are FIVE separate groups that have the words "Cedar Rapids" in front of their name (Well, five separate schools... 12 separate show choirs). The group at Nationals was Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Not just Cedar Rapids.
I guess it's my pet peeve or something.

haha I totally know what you mean. It's not just acknowledging that show choir that is important. I guess when people just say "Cedar Rapids" it makes them sound less knowledgable too. Think of people talking about the Lawrence show choirs and just saying Lawrence instead of Lawrence Central and Lawrence North. Also, some people don't realize that there are more than one Cedar Rapids when just one is at a competition and the competition is not close to iowa. So thank you for mentioning that!

I can agree with both, as it is tiring to see just Cedar Rapids typed instead of CR (name). However in this case, I think since they were the only Cedar Rapids choir there, it's safe to say we all know they were talking about CR Kennedy.

Oh well... I guess it's kind of annoying, but then again, we were the only CR school down there. I don't think it should be blown to epic proportions and brought to a heated debate...

I see your point. I guess I was trying to make sure that you weren't aware of the multiple C.R. groups. Obviously you are, so I guess that solves that.
I obviously know there is more than one cedar rapids, but for sake of time and seeing as they were the only cedar rapids group at the competition I just put cedar rapids. I also was not trying to offend or bring down any of the other groups by not puttting kennedy of happines inc. I just wanted to tell them how great I thought they were
