I'd just like to thank everybody who went to Nationals for their love and support. It meant a lot to me, as well as everybody in Encores. :]

So I drove 12 hours to watch this competition, and I have to say the following:

Enterprise - Wonderful. You really deserved the Grand Champs.

Marysville - Thanks for the best weekend of my life. As for your show, it's wonderful. Best ballad of the year.

Totino-Grace - You guys sound amazing. I loved all of your soloists.

Mundelein - Loved your opener. Ben Brown = amazing.

Cedar Rapids - First novelty number I've ever liked. Thank you.

Enterprise....you were so amazing!! i cant believe what you guys could/can do...even after what happened!!! You had me bawling during the ballad...when the soloist broke down...and all 304967493045830967 people in that auditorium stood up...wow! words cant describe the feeling! you had everyone...EVERYONE including me...bawling their eyes out! wow...just wow!

Pascagoula and Spain Park........I have been a big fan some of you know for the last few years, but you guys totally proved how awesome you both are and I totally felt that you guys should have had a slot in the finals. Spain Park your parents that sat with us on Friday were super sweet and totally enjoied talking with them. Hang in there and I hope that you guys have an amazing year next year. Pascagoula that was the best I have seen your show this year and you guys know that I have seen it several times....lol. Keep up the good work and keep being the kindest group ever!

Thank you that means a lot...we were kind of nervous as it is because we forgot our flags...and not to mention it was the biggest comp. Pascagoula has ever gone to...and then we looked out in the audience and there was not a lot of people there so we were like...great...these are the flaws of going before lunch break LOL...o well we had a blast and it was fun!!

Happiness Inc rocked my socks off in finals...my show choir did not get there till 10:30 but i asked for special arrangements to get there early just to see y'all GREAT!! keep it up!!

I am wondering, what all was done for Enterprise? How much did they raise?

along with the $5,000 from bracelets and the $5,000 SCN matched, marysville raised $1,000 for them and their school.

Oh my! That is about all I can say about Nationals. This was the most amazing competition that I have ever wittnessed...lol. I have so many things to say, but I am just going to make a few comments!

Enterprise........you guys are amazing! I totally have so much respect for your group and director. Like others have said not a dry eye in the house for prelims. You totally deserved GC and don't ever think otherwise.

Happiness Inc............you guys rock! I spent Friday in front of the majority of your group and loved how kind you guys were to everyone. You win the Impact award, because down here in the south Pascagoula Impact is the nicest group ever and you guys are right there with them. Your show was great to the most entertaining all weekend I would say! Can't wait to get the finals video to show you guys off to my choir.

Totino-Grace........that has to be the best Mike Weaver show I have ever wittnessed. I loved it!

Pascagoula and Spain Park........I have been a big fan some of you know for the last few years, but you guys totally proved how awesome you both are and I totally felt that you guys should have had a slot in the finals. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it like.. $5,000 from Nationals and then Attache matched it? And they had bracelets for sale, that were in turn handed out to every individual member of Encores before awards from Attache.

It was wonderful

Attache raised $5,000 with the bracelets and SCN matched it dollar for dollar with $5,000 more.

I thought everyone performed AMAZINGLY and I absolutely LOVED this competition. I'd say more about individual choirs, but there's just one thing I really want to say right now...

Enterprise - Pre-lims... wow, that was the most amazing performance I've ever seen. I was so glad I got to witness that. How amazing that the first three numbers fit so perfectly? Just thinking about everything made tears well up. I can't even begin to imagine what you all were going through. Then the ballad... everyone lost it. Like someone already mentioned, not a dry eye in the house. I have nothing but respect and pride in the fact that you were able to do what you did. Oh and in the ballad when you all held hands and were just unified... yea, it was truly amazing. Your finals show was amazing and pulled together really well... I'm so proud of all of you for being able to perform so well in such circumstances. Congratulations :]
