Directors were informed like, the day after the Opry dropped their contract for Thursday and Friday.
Also, as I stated before, it is not a case of SCN not caring as much about the Single-Gender competition or prelims... The Opry has the ability to option out of a contract if another one comes along offering more money, and that was the situation.
I am SO excited for this competition! I hear there's a big mall by our hotel. I like malls.

well, I guess, since that's what everyone is saying. But we performed there my sophomore year and I was really looking forward to doing it again. And I guess this is the sort of thing I'd have liked to hear from our director by now, but I guess not.

I'm guessing everyone has heard by now that the Single-Gender competition and prelims will be held in the Acuff theater, NOT on the Opry stage? I kind of like it- more motivation to make finals.

Their show last year was very different from what I'm used to seeing, but they were wonderful. The took home a GC over EEE last year, I can't think of the competition tho.

See, I don't know much about the first two, but I know Danville took our comp last year...and I thought they had a GC already this year? Am I wrong?
hmmmm...i have never seen the first group...Enterprise.....but i have seen Danville....they went to nationals my soph year and the placed 6th in finals....we placed 5th..i just rele hope we do well...

WOW!! i cant wait...this is what im lookin forward to this year.....this and Hastings...its gonna be an awesome competition....my group went my soph year and took 5th....i hope we do well this year.....
