The Decorah-Luther "Adam Peters Variety Show" will be performing in Milton's time slot and La Crosse Central "Nick Seiler Nation" will be performing in Lincoln Southwest's time slot. We are both hoping to make it into finals!
So if hypothetically, I'm a big nerd, and look at SCC at 7 in the morning (leaving at 8?!?! this is our latest departure of the year by 3 hours!), do you think I'll know if Urbandale can make it? I'm really looking forward to seeing them, have heard incredible stuff about them.

Somehow, find me during the comp (maybe come to our host room?) I have two things that need to find their way back to La Crosse.
If we're coming we'll be on the road by 7:00. I won't have a way to post if we leave though. If we have to cancel at the last minute I would be able to post that. So...check on here and "no news is good news."

yeah, we had about an 8 hour bus ride up there and our district office cancelled the trip this morning so Resonance and Ambience will not be competing at Totino " border="0" alt="weeping.gif" /> we really wanted to go to this competition and see some really great groups and also show you how awesome some Lincoln Nebraska show choir can be, but mother nature obviously hates us all
Ugh! I just looked outside and it's snowing again here. Not flurries...actual snow fall. And I heard on the local news that they have extended the blizzard warning for central and north central Iowa to 6:00 am tomorrow morning. BOO!!!!
Also, I predict that Vitality will make finals! (I mean, after their AWESOME performance at Kennedy's comp last weekend)
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Chris, but I don't think Class A choirs are eligible for finals at Spectacular. Maybe only if they have enough cancellations that there aren't enough Class A groups to fill out finals. So far the groups to cancel are Valley, Milton, and Lincoln Southwest, so by my calculations all the AA schools are automatically in finals.
Yeah... I usually have my radio show on Saturday mornings at eight here at Luther... but I think I may record it tonight and have someone pop it in tomorrow so we can leave earlier and make it to Totino by noon.
And sad about Valley... PLLLLEEEASSSEEE GOD, LET URBANDALE MAKE IT!!!
At this point we're still planning to come. We are meeting at the school tomorrow morning at 5:30 and if the roads and conditions have improved enough we're coming!

I've never been to Totino before, but I don't think there is any way that our director would cancel this. We are only an hour away. From what I've heard, its like the best competition ever. Hope it can live up to my expectations based on what I have heard. But I'm really excited because I'll beable to see Bemidji and Totino live for the first time this year. Wait, you guys don't kick the students out of the auditorium do you?
I wish I could come to this comp... Totino is one of my favorite groups and I really want tio see them again this year! But I'm going to UofM for a jazz festival. If we cancel that I'll definately try to get up there! Good Luck to everyone!
I HATE THIS WEATHER!!!!!! It kinda sucks that some groups cancelled. I was really looking forward to see everyone. Well even though we dont get to come up today we still get to go tomorrow at 5:30. Kinda early but o well... How many groups are actually showing up tomorrow?

Here at University of Northern Iowa, its pretty fine. The campus parking lots aren't cleared, but i don't think we have anywhere to put the new snow fall. My roomate drove to work and said the roads were fine up here, crews are out cleaning everything up!
