MILTON OFFICIALLY NOT ATTENDING.

No chances of leaving Saturday morning or anything.

Good luck to those still attending, and drive safe!!

We tried to convince the bus company to leave tomorrow morning, but they said they don't want to risk it. Everyone from Milton is dissapointed, but its not our call, its the bus company. I am very dissapointed, Totino-Grace is my favorite competition, and I was really looking forward to a good weekend of show choir. Hopefully not that many choirs cancel, and you are still able to have a good competition. We know how much work it is, and it would be sad if you didn't get a good turn out.

Good Luck to All!!

We better come next year!

I still don't understand why you guys are cancelling....but I know that you are probably frustrated about it too. I'm really sorry that you can't make it, we will sorely miss your group.

Oh, and I also heard that both of Lincoln, Nebraska's groups cancelled....this makes me so sad.

as of 6:45 am, Miltons bus company has cancelled on us for bad weather, hopefully they change their minds and we delay our departure time

Bemidji is 3 1/2 hours from Totino, 4 hours from Waconia and 4 1/2 hours from Hastings and we leave in the morning and return that night (24 hour trip). With the weather improving as the day goes on today, is there any way to leave say at 5:00 am Saturday and still make it in time to perform at 3:50???

Once again, eastern Wisconsin gets nowhere near the weather that the rest of Wisconsin and Minnesota seems to have gotten. I got nothin', maybe a few inches of snow and some sleet, but nothing frozen and certainly no big drifts.

Milton Schools are closed, along with almost every other school in WI. I am sad to say that Milton will not be attending this competition. I wish everyone good luck who attends, if the competion is still even going on!

I'm sorry about that The roads in MN are looking pretty clear. Are you guys for sure not attending?

Poor Wes and John....I think they might just have a heart attack....you guys should have seen them this week. They have been secretly planning the Milton room, and they haven't told anyone but the other kids in their room hosting group about what they're doing. I had a feeling it was going to be over the top. They really wanted to win "Best Room" this year. But oh well, it's not your fault that Mother Nature decided do dump a huge chunk of snow over the Midwest....right before Spectacular....ugh.

But I am happy about the snowday. I got to sleep in this morning! It probably doesn't help much that I came down with a terrible cold yesterday and last night....but I'm gonna tough it out (despite the objections of my parents) and go to set up today. I really don't want to have to work a really late shift after the comp. Just stay away from me today so I don't get you sick.

See you Totino kids in a few hours (and the rest of you tomorrow)!

That sucks. Well as of right now there is no snow coming down around my house and the street is completely cleared off, so I hope that is a good sign for how the rest of the state is looking.

I just spent an hour and a half shoveling the driveway so my mom could head to the U (she is a prof there). Even though her class for the day is cancelled, she has other meetings. I say we just shovel our way to Milton to pick you up!

Hey I hosted La Voce Ballo last year at Spectacular...I bet none of them have any idea who I am though...

I'm extremely happy we do not have school tomorrow. Good deal. Lookin forward to sleeping in. Sleep is always needed.

I feel bad for anybody who has to go to school tomorrow, because almost everything is closed

Not to crash anybody's hopes, but even The University Of Minnesota is closing, and it hasn't done that since I don't know, It didn't even do that in October 1991 and we had record breaking snow fall then. And THE MALL OF AMERICA IS CLOSED TOO!!!!! So, if you were hoping to go shopping when you come, you better hope for like 100 degress on Saturday.--Oh, news just said the Mall Of America will be open tomorrow.

I think that it is funny that we are going to have a snow day, but we have more time to set up the school. Instead of starting at 2 PM tomorrow, we get to start at 12, which means that the school is going to look that much better when EVERY choir shows up. Drive safe everyone!

Hey everyone!!

A little update on Spectacular...

Our parents have worked incredibly hard this afternoon and evening, and have completed all of the set-up we typically do on Thursday. )" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> We are still on schedule, and will continue working hard to hold this great event!

If you head over to www.totinograce.org, and click on the Show Choir Spectacular link, you will be brought to our Spectacular Information page. Please check back often for any schedule changes or updates.

Our director has been in contact with most of our competing groups today, and everyone is still planning to make the snowy trek to Totino-Grace High School on Saturday! We have the utmost faith that Spectacular will continue to stay on schedule and be a rewarding and fun day for everyone who attends.

Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday,
Ana
