Minnesota takes very good care of it's roads in the winter. We probably won't even miss school because of this storm...

Me too. We really want to compete at Spectacular, so I'm sure Urbandale will do everything we can to make it up there. We already have some contingency plans for our travel in case we have to delay our departure. It just might mean that our kids don't get to go to the Mall of America or might not have as much time to chill out at the hotel before lights out.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the forecasters are wrong this time.

the latest forcast i saw said all the weather should be over around noonish on friday!!

If we had to cancel spectacular, i'd find mother nature and throw her into a black hole...let's see if she can withstand that

Hey Mr. Lancelot--
When you get back to Totino you should come up and see me. I am currently at Depaul trying to achieve my 3rd degree! Funny that I am flying out of Chicago to come to Totino and you are leaving Totino to come to Chicago! Best of luck on the interview!! Be sure to tell me how it went--we might be students together!

" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Well it is just going to be a very long day (darn 6AM flight), but I will be sure to try to find you. I think I am going there so it would be cool to get your opinion on the school.

Wow! Spectacular is coming up so fast! I'm excited, except for the part that I can't host Bemidji anymore because I have an interview at DePaul University in Chicago at 9 AM. O well, I will be back around 5ish so I still can enjoy a couple hours of Spectacular...

Let me just say, that although I have to miss Spectacular (even though so many of my friends will be in attendance) that I love Totino and I would do anything to be there. Apparently my parents think a college audition holds more importance that TG Spectacular. Who do they think they are kidding??

Hey Kevin,

Since we have some local groups coming, we are pretty confident that even in bad weather, we will have groups that are able to attend, and won't want to miss out on a day of show choir! It doesn't sound like the winter storm headed our way is going to last into Saturday, so hopefully it won't even be an issue!!!

We'll be sending an e-mail to all of our directors tonight or tomorrow with more details.

I WILL see you Saturday!!!
Ana

Ana: If the weather is really bad, and we do get a big storm, is there any chance you guys would cancel the Spectacular? Of course I hope not, I would plow a path from bemidji to the cities if i had to for my kids, but I am just curious if you have any thoughts on the matter...just so I maybe know what to expect just in case it happens.

EVERYONE OUT THERE PRAY FOR GOOD WEATHER AND SAFE TRAVEL!

Thanks-Kevin Francis

I just have to say, Resonance is pretty pumped to perform.

We've heard great things about all the other groups, and are looking forward to seeing all of them!

Sioux Falls Washington was signed up, but did not send any information in, and EEE cancelled a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, both groups cancelled too late for us to add groups from our waiting list.

Yeah, SF Washington dropped out because we found out 8 people from our already small 27 member group were not able to attend because they had mandatory scholarship auditions, lets just pray that we can make it next year! Totino has always been one of my favorite comps!
