I have seen all the groups, so I will take a stab at it...

Grand Champion- Cedar Rapids Prairie
1st Runner Up- Holmen
2nd Runner Up- North St. Paul
3rd Runner Up- Parkview

Best Vocals- Prairie
Best Choreography- Prairie

This is how I could see things going... but I know Holmen's unique style could shake things up, so I won't be surprised if Holmen pulled out the win. It all depends on the judges style preferences.

Who are the judges?

I realize the 6 groups are nearly already chosen for finals, so any predictions for final placement? Captions? Anything?

?? anyone?

i'm not really sure, i haven't seen prairie this year. has anyone that has seen all groups or knows prairies show have any predictions?

Prairie has a pretty solid show. When they haven't made finals it has been at two of the toughest competitions in Iowa this year (Linn-Mar, Great River) so don't let their previous placings fool you.

Unless Onalaska or Parkview MS beats one!

And actually, Adam is mistaken about Prairie. C.R. Prairie "Ambassadors" placed 4th runner-up at Benton, behind Lincoln Southwest, C.R. Jefferson, C.R. Kennedy, and C.R. Xavier, and ahead of Dubuque Wahlert. Hope that helps you.

EDIT: clarification to the maximus... I messed up

haha... Thanks.

Well, assuming 6 groups in finals, looks like all the HS groups make it, eh?

How has CR Prarie placed thus far?

-edit- They have.

At Great River, all three preliminary judges had Prairie in finals (6th,6th,4th)... but their points added up was not enough to get them there. Their show is pretty solid.

Does anyone know of Cedar Rapids Prarie's show or where they have been? I've never seen them.

The Prairie "Ambassadors" have competed at Linn Mar, Benton, Davenport West/Central, and Southeast Polk.

Their show is, "System Of Survival", "I Got Fascinatin Rhythm", "On The Deck Of A Spanish Sailing Ship, 1492", "Love Machine", "Disco!".

Oh my GOD...WINTER SUCKS! I'm so sorry that groups again have to miss competitions because of the weather this weekend. If any groups would like to make up a competition please read the above quote. We promise a 70 degree sunny day.
