anyone care to divulge any details regarding shows? i'm sure i'm not the only one that is curious as to what Center Grove, DeKalb or any other show choir that competed at Southmont is hiding up their sleeve?

You are fine. I didn't get to see Anderson's show but I'm sure ya'll did great. The person who made the point spead comments wasn't even in a group that competed at Southmont. So it doens't really matter. It was a fun competition and a great way to start off our year. Thanks to everyone who went!!

This is the kind of stuff that runs people away from this site. Someone always trying to start problems. Everyone needs to calm down. We're all out here for the same reason and that's to put on a good show. I'm sorry if I was misinformed about the point spread. I personally did not see the numbers and just went on what I was told about the finals point spread. I apologize for any hostility that was found in my previous post even though I personally did not find any.

Tyler.

o yeah the points do seem really close together...not

center grove won by 70 points
dekalb won over anderson by 81 points
and anderson won over north side by 92 points

woah those top three scores were VERY close...

We're not exactly for sure if those were even the right scores. And, there is no reason to start an argument over it. It was a good competition between everyone. I wasn't displeased with Anderson's performance at all. We did well for it being only our first competition.

So PLEASE don't start up any unnecessary arguments. It's not needed.

Thanks and good luck to all of the choirs who participated in the competition. It was a great day.

So yesterday's competition was amazing. A great way for Anderson to start out the year. Awesome job to everyone who participated yesterday. I would not have wanted to be a judge there yesterday. The top three spots were very close in points, both in Prelims and in Finals. I would like to know what more people thought of Anderson's show. Thanks.

Tyler.

Did they give out new Visual/Vocal captions during finals awards?
'Cause I know during prelims, Center Grove & Dekalb both tied for Visual, didn't they?
Or was that women's... eh I forget...

that was women's

Anderson -- I thought you guys were awesome! I was definitely one of your groupies for the day... had to represent. But really, I thought you guys were really good.
& correction -- Hot Sauce was the one with long hair pretending to do something on stage with the risers.

Center Grove won. I think. Girls wearing the gold thingies. I dunno, I was kinda busy during awards.

Oh and for those there, I was the guy fixing the risers with the long hair. Yeah. Fun times.
