I'm really excited for the concert choir competition tomorrow night. I know this is the show choir forum, but there wasn't a forum for the concert choir comp. I'll post the schedule here in case anyone is interested.
4:00 pm: Select Woman-Onalaska High School
4:30 pm: Robed Choir- Gale-Ettrick-Trempleau High School
5:00 pm: Upper Women's Chorus - La Crosse Central High School
5:30 Dinner Break
6:30 pm: Varsity Choir - DePere High School
7:00 pm: Concert Choir - Holmen High School
7:30 pm: Chamber Choir - Altoona High School
8:00 pm: Choir - Waukesha High School
8:30 pm: Robed Choir - La Crosse Central High School
9:00 pm: Concert Choir - Onalaska High School
The Concert Choir competition will be held tomorrow night at First Lutheran Church (410 Main Street, Onalaska, WI, 54650)
Wouldn't that be something if you did? Host groups going against all the groups they hosted.

East, Mitchell, Dav. West, Altoona (I think this might be the most exciting, seeing who gets the last two spots).
I'm still waiting for a complete shocker... maybe this year.
But if you look at the time slot, I know you don't go off of time for predictions, but for the first week and Altoona having a competition under their belt, in which they made finals, I would believe they make finals over Sioux City. And of course these are just predictions that are to be completly wrong.
Well, last year at Fame Chicago, they were the first group to perform in the morning and they still managed to go into finals in 3rd place... just a little food for thought.
Oh yeah, I saw them perform a week ago and they are way ahead of last year choreographically and that's before Mike came to clean them this week.
Good luck to all of the choirs competing, it looks to be a very good competition... it almost makes me wish I was still in high school...
hmm...I wouldn't count sioux city out of finals, I hear they are looking way better than they did last year at this time, where they made finals at linn mar...so id put them over altoona and mitchel for sure. Other than that I agree with the list

YAY! comming this weekend! This is like my 1st year on a like compeating show choir adn im basicaly peeing myself with excitement... if your wondering.....so See you there!!!!! ;)
