i kind of promised myself i wouldn't post on here after graduating but i couldnt help it.
1) North Central's Counterpoints have not competed at MusicFest for YEARS. King's Court (almost) always comes, Accents always come.
2) I'm excited about the Ambassadors competing. (I think technically I'm supposed to not like Carmel due to that whole being in Mystiques, but whatever, their dance captains are two of my favorite people in the whole world.)
I think the top 3 will be Carmel, Brownsburg, and Warren Central...but who knows?
Predictions!!- This is what I would LIKE to see happen although I'm almost certain it won't!
GC-Warren Central
1RU-Carmel
2RU-Brownsburg
3RU-Chesterton
4RU-toss up
Best Vocals-WC
Best Choreo-Carmel
I would like to see Warren win just b/c they are singing so well but ultimately I think Carmel will walk away with the GC! Good luck to all the groups!
The Accents are one of the top girls groups if not the best one in the State. Carmel girls will definetly take this. None of these other groups are even a match for the Carmel Accents
IN the mixed, it is more of a tossup. Carmel and Warren Central will be battling for that GC. WC is great this year, and have place well at some tough copmetitions. But, I don't think they will be able to take down Carmel. Carmel's amazing comeback though is putting them on the top for me. Warren Central is good, a very good choir...but I don't think they should beat Carmel. All the way around, this is an AWESOME competition in the mixed as well as girls divisions.
in concert choir, brownsburg is unstoppable. They will easliy pull out a win here.
I see Carmel, Carmel, Brownsburg as your champions for the day...
North Central "Accents" and "King's Court Singers" are competing, but not "Counterpoints"?
If the "Counterpoints" aren't competing, then Carmel will win the Mixed Division by a landslide.
The Single-Gender Division could be interesting with North Central, Carmel, and Chesterton all competing. I think Carmel could take this too, but it won't be without a fight.
It'd be nice to see Fishers, Noblesville, Avon or Decatur Central make finals just because they don't compete much or have never competed.
Well, the two groups from North Central that are coming aren't directed by Mrs. Wiehe. They're directed by Mrs. Click. The girls group that you're probably thinking of from North Central is the "Descants" rather than the "Accents." The "Accents" are kind of like their prep girls show choir.

This still won't be Carmel's first contest since their hiatus, as they'll be competing at North Central on March 3rd.
But... Fishers has competing show choirs? What? I would have thought my alma mater would be competing before Fishers. I don't even know who their director is (Fishers HS was only a freshman campus when I was a senior at HSE).
Nonetheless... this will be an awesome contest!
Their director is the old assistant director from my high school, Jen Vrabec.

The legendary Carmel is returning to competition. It will be very, very interesting to how their 15 year (or so) competition layoff will affect them. I know they still did a show each year, but performing and competiting are two different things.
Carmel actually had almost a 19 year layoff from competing, a few years more than 15. They stopped competing in 1988 a few months before I was born and they are starting to compete a few months before I turn 19.
ok i just want to know wat some of the results were from competitions. i want to see we(Lawrence North New D.) have to worry about at NC. i know that we can beat BD cause we did at Lc and i know LC is pretty good, Moorseville personally dont stand a chance against us plus they go second. and i think pike might be pretty good. but wat about cedar rapids, northridge, carmel, castle. and how did pike do at there competitions this year.
