Congrats Jefferson Pop Singers on all of your hard work paying off and it culminating in your first grand championship in recent history. Also shoutout to Tuscarora Titan Tempo and Frederick High Fidelity on representing Maryland in an amazing fashion.
I am also so proud of the Pop Singers. I was so happy when they won. They are the sweetest group of people and their director creates such a positive environment for all of them. It was a lot of hard work for her to turn that program around in the shambles it was previously in and I'm proud of how far she has taken them in 6 years. Kudos and well done!
P.S. the Pop Singers actually have won Grand Champions before. They were WV State Champions a few times in the 80's (my mom was in the group one of the years they won) and I think they've won other competitions too. It's just been an extremely long time since the Pop Singers have won Grand Champions at a competition.
