Anyone have thoughts of the live stream in this manor- when you bought a live stream it said 20.00/week. Do you think when they will have it running for a week to be able to rewatch?

The livestream ended as soon as the GC were announced. Didn’t even wait to share the winning team students reactions. I am unsure if they will let it be accessible for a week. That would be great if they did allow. I may be wrong.

I don’t want to speak for the people at Wheaton, but since this was a two-day live stream, my guess is that was just a token to make sure you were able to be logged in for the duration of the event. It’s misleading from a customer perspective, but I highly doubt the broadcast will come back up for replay. Just my assumption, though.

I’ve been in Show Choir since 2009. I had the privilege to witness Center Grove live back in 2009 at Findlay fest and when I tell you that “stairway to heaven” performance still lives in my heart as the best show ever . Congratulations to Center Grove for consistently delivering excellence year after year!!! Phenomenal show

Ridiculous that a finalist is SCHEDULED to perform after midnight. And that's assuming they're still on schedule. It's past time for some parents to say "Nope! Not this late," and take their kids home. Let that happen a couple times and things will change.

This is probably the closest thing to a Super Bowl we’ll get this year. These kids are so lucky to participate in something like it. I’d give an arm and leg to witness it live

Past midnight?? On a Saturday??? Won’t someone think of the kids….

Jokes aside, I’m sure the students would be thrilled if their parents forced them to leave their group and friends just because it was late.

Why be a slave to the clock? The clock just measures time. The clock should be an advisor, not a master. Do we serve the yardstick?

I graduated in 2019, and the last time Los Al lost to a school outside of California was before I was even in middle school, and they go to a national level comp every year. What a huge accomplishment by Los Al for keeping that streak all these years and Center Grove for finally ending it. Watching Los Al’s show on YouTube, I definitely didn’t think “This might be the year.” Top notch show, if not one of their best since 2016. When multiple groups get to that caliber, it truly is apples to oranges. Can’t wait to watch Center Grove when the vid is out!

Los Al…your lighting designer just lost you the competition. The judges were being blinded the entire performance. Messing with the house lights did not pay off. Could not see anything most of the show. Very disappointing.

That wasn’t the case in the gym (signed someone sitting right in front of the judges booth.)

I was in the back row being blasted myself, watching all the judges shielding their eyes to try and see. I was super disappointed because I lived for the show in prelims and was so excited to see the show again. Then the lights happened and made it so hard to get into. I truly believed they were going to win until what happened with the lights and I could see judges getting annoyed.

Doesn’t the choreo award negate the comment cause they where able to see to be able to award them that
