I don't believe there's a Sydney from Green Bay Southwest who got a Best Solo within a show. I wasn't there, but wondering if someone could double check that?
I am the last person that should complain about no live streams at competitions... I don't have a clue what it takes to stream a competition. But I know that many people would appreciate it if they did. Anything to get more people to see these performances is an overall good thing for show choir. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to all the performers today!
From what I understand, during COVID, livestreaming was mostly, if not completely free, but now it's not, and it's apparently really, really expensive.

Absolutely, pretty incredible seeing an averaged 0.5 point difference between the four groups 5-8. Definitely a stacked day with lots of quality groups, and also showing that not making finals here, especially for the first few out, doesn't indicate an inherently worse show than the finalist groups.
It's also interesting seeing the variation in opinion between judges, especially between the two vocal judges. Paul had Sparta 12th vocally while Lori had Sparta 2nd, which shows me again how intense of a contest there was at Sauk today.
Schedule is now updated to reflect the competition website. It appears as though New London has taken the place of Fort Atkinson on Friday night, the prep division times and order shifted a little bit, and Janesville Craig dropped, shifting most every varsity group earlier.
