Also I just went back through the years to look, and I believe this will be Los Alamitos' first time competing at a regional competition hosted at a high school outside of California. Every time they have competed outside of California, it has been at a FAME, Heart of America, or Show Choir Nationals, so this is definitely exciting!

It also reminds me of Heart of America Orlando 2018. 3 of the finalists from that event will also be here (Los Alamitos, Center Grove, and Mt. Zion).

This contest has never been won by a group outside of the Midwest. 2020 probably would’ve been the first with Burbank and an undefeated Petal coming up. Looks like Los Al is finally going to end that streak.

I think Center Grove will probably be Los Al's biggest competition. I'm honestly more interested in seeing where the rest of the groups will land.

I attend and am a part of the groups traveling to compete from Los Al this will be our first time competing at this competition. We are all very excited to see new competition and watch everyone's sets!

I'm still amazed at the amount of diverse, high-quality groups that will be here, and we don't even have a full schedule yet. This will definitely be the competition of the year.

Oak Mountain has this weekend on their calendar as an unidentified contest. So far, I haven’t seen any non-Southern region contests for them, so it’d be interesting if they came here.

This Mississippi boy is flying up to the great state of Illinois to attend this competition—

Mainly because The Classics and Esprit graced the south with their presence this past show choir season.

Wheaton is such a great contest. I went in 2022, 10/10 would recommend.
