It gets boring seeing it always being a soundtrax , soundsensations and impressions battle. I want more women’s groups to hit up Cali.

Marysville… I’m just shocked.
I didn’t think the show could be any better than before but you guys brought the best show I’ve seen all year.

I’ve seen 2 groups this weekend that perform barefoot - Linn Mar 10th Street Edition and Ankeny Spectrum (both from Iowa, coincidentally). Is this something that is being done more? Just curious because I don’t think I’ve seen it before.

Both groups have done it in the past (Spectrum 2022 and Linn Mar 2019 for example). But the performers were only barefoot in parts of the show or only about half of the performers on stage were barefoot. So it's not entirely new for these groups.

They are both choreographed by Lexi Robson Buglewicz. She is pretty innovative and her choreography is, for lack of a better term, lyrical. So I would assume that performing barefoot helps the performers nail the lyrical choreography. Waukee NW Eos is also choreographed by Lexi, and they performed barefoot as well this year.

Spectrums girls have danced bare foot 2014, 2015 , 2016, 2019 and 2020, 2022 as well

Bare foot is something I didn’t like in choir cause I was afraid that I’d step on an earring from a previous choir
