Poca's Visual Volume has had to regrettably withdraw from the competition due to a high prevalence of respiratory illness. We're wishing the best of luck to everyone!

How is the scoring weighted here?

I guess I was just a little confused on the two different places that was mentioned in the schedule. Is it broken up by division or are there some teams that can't make it? Just a bit confused. Thanks!!

If you look at the schedule, you will see that Tier I and Tier II are in the Arena, and Tier III are in the PAC. Therefore, they have separate finals.

Only treble groups are unable to make finals.

Even if it’s biased. Loveland ALWAYS has it together, and a smooth running show by crystal. There’s a reason they’re legendary

Legendary would be Burbank, Clinton, John Burroughs, Los Al, Carmel, Marysville, Lin Mar… Unless you want to put Loveland at the same level as them, they are not legendary. Loveland is amazing don’t get me wrong but throwing the word legendary isn’t appropriate. I would hope that every group has their act together this far into the season especially going into Crystal which is a huge competition. Yes Loveland is in tiptop shape, but so is every other group. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended top 3, it really is up in the air!

nahhhh loveland is in fact legendary. Winning nationals 2013, almost coming within points of burbank 2016, 2017 panic at the disco was iconic. Their folk theme. And lets be honest a lot of these groups now are inspired by loveland. Loveland is legendary..

I believe these comments do stand in their own right. Though, I do believe it’s hard to compare the choirs losing to Piqua during Red Hot’s first comp and at Ross’s second comp. Loveland may have improved over the season (Ex: beating Piqua), but don’t forget, Both Red Hot and Ross have improved over the season as well! It’s going to be a really close match-up between Ross, Red Hot, and Loveland. I can’t wait to see how this weekend plays out!!

I truly believe this competition could go to anyone. Hurricane beat Loveland early in the year, but then Loveland beat Piqua who beat Hurricane. Then Ross beat Marysville, who beat Hurricane. Then Hurricane beat Ross 2 weeks ago. And the you have ETC who I think could be the dark horse, and move into a top 3 spot. Regardless of what the outcome is, this should be a great competition to watch.

I agree. ETC also beat Piqua at Hurricane’s comp a little over a month ago. Anything could happen!
