Is it common to pay for cable television and still have to watch commercials?
I know it feels like if you're paying, that should be enough - but independent live streams do take a lot of work to put together and there can be a decent amount of expenses to consider with the equipment, labor, and expertise involved. When streams are available for free, it's fantastic - but let's not forget that at the end of the day these events are fundraisers for the host programs. Sometimes it's just necessary to bring in sponsors to make things work.
No worries. I do understand the sentiment. I think often times there is a lot more that goes into the streams than people realize. That said, we are all spoiled! It's wonderful to have access to all of these different shows across the country!
