When are the middle school awards?

I would assume that middle school awards would be wrapped in with prelim awards, should be around 5:50 or 6:00 if everything runs on time.

Thanks for clarifying since I know some competitions have awards before the high school prep division starts.

One of my favorite parts about show choir is seeing how groups change & grow over the years. I remember watching Sparta in their first years back in 17-19 & being impressed with how talented they were for being such a new group. Going from being a prep group in 2020 to now killing it in the advanced/AA division is amazing! You guys rock! Keep up the great work.

Is the public allowed to watch the solo comps and if so, where are they held?

I heard the livestream is behind, but we are on schedule here. Not sure why it’s doing that

New to the show choir scene. What is the difference between Mixed Group Tier 1 and Mixed Group Tier 2?

Jeff. on Feb 8, 2023, 8:51 AM

Typically in Minnesota and Wisconsin competitions, Tier I indicates advanced and Tier II is often intermediate/prep groups. Other states may have divisions based on group size or school enrollment, so in those cases Tier I indicates large and Tier II/III indicates medium or small. Hope that helps; welcome to the scene!

Thank you for the explanation. I kind of thought that, but wanted to make sure.
