That is true, but what exactly is the point of this comment other than pure negativity towards Linn Marr?

I can’t wait to see how amazing my Tenth Street friends show because they all seem to be very happy about going to nationals not just because of nationals, but because of all the other amazing groups they can watch while there. Also they are hyped that the show choir before them for day 2 has the same opener and closer

It is an unlikely happenstance that two choirs that don't usually attend SCN both happen to have unusual, but similar show themes, and are the first two mixed choirs of the day. It'll be a great morning of The Devil Went Down To Georgia and golden guitars/violins.

Early Predictions:
GC - Linn-Mar 10th Street Edition (BC) (BB)
1RU - Mt Zion Swingsations
2RU - Hastings Riverside Company (BV)
3RU - Oak Mountain Singers
4RU - Findlay First Edition
5RU - North Central Counterpoints

I wouldn't be surprised if another group took best choreography, considering there are a lot of great "dancing groups" attending nationals this year.

I'm really excited to see how Linn-Mar does at this competition, especially after a year that Ankeny Centennial attended, since they are pretty much equal caliber of them. This is also their first Show Choir Nationals appearance EVER. I think this is one of the most national-level comps that Linn-Mar has ever attended. This will be an all around super fun experience for those in that choir and I'm super excited to see how they do up against so many choirs they have never competed against.

Hopefully we get a schedule for this soon! It's looking to be possibly the most competitive event of the year.

This is already looking pretty stacked. So far these groups are attending:

Hastings
Linn-Mar
Mt. Zion
Findlay
Homewood
Oak Mountain
North Central
Peoria
Northridge

Los Alamitos also has a trip planned for this weekend, so they could be attending as well. Any word on other groups who will be here?

There are five groups in that list that could easily be GC, and that’s if Los Alamitos is going to a different contest. What a lineup.

It’s still one of the most impressive lineups I’ve seen in a while. I guess my way too early prediction with that lineup would be:

1. Linn Marr (BC)
2. Hastings (BV)
3. Homewood
4. Mt. Zion
5. North Central
6. Findlay

First prediction of the season and we don't even have an official list of groups yet LOL, we love to see it.

Probably be some sort of record if it’s actually right too.

I think it’s obvious counterpoints will be in the top 5, they always have a amazing show although my mom has said they haven’t been that good the last 5 years.
