I don’t think I’ve ever seen attaché and Los Al go head to head that would be interesting

I don't have the time right now to type this all out, but I think the rationale for this is buried in one of the Show Choir Nationals comment threads from 2020 or 2018 or something like that. It's a loaded story.

Due to some issues with the original venue, this event was canceled and then moved and then uncanceled! Thus, I am very happy to announce that with the exception of what I believe is just one school, the entire competition will go on as originally planned. The updated schedule is posted above.

A few things to note: one, because this event is now taking place on school grounds, times had to be shifted a good deal later for the Friday portion. Second, because capacity of the theater is significantly reduced compared to the original venue, tickets WILL SELL OUT. If there is a group you would like to watch, make sure to buy your tickets as soon as possible. The presale ticket link is available in the info bar up on the left side.

We know that moving an entire event around must be incredibly difficult, so please send big positive vibes to the teams at Oceanside and Carlsbad for making this happen. Getting to perform is the highlight for any show choir student and we are thrilled to see this competition moving forward!

I just want to echo that last part: We owe a HUGE thanks to Leah Ritt and her team at Oceanside, as well as Jessie Bullock and his team at Carlsbad, for taking a last minute catastrophe and turning it into a soaring victory. To me, this event, filled with spirit-lifting performances, new friendships, and just plain fun, was symbolic of Show Choir's determination to conquer all obstacles and re-affirm itself. Much gratitude

Very true. I prefer Sound FX's show and think they will win over Powerhouse based on their videos, but you never know! I'm equally or even more interested in seeing how it goes down between their women's groups (Sound Sensations and Soundtrax) as both groups have a win streak of 7 competitions in a row.

Wouldn’t base it on videos. Burroughs was incredible in New York. Much better than the videos online.

^^ Right lol. Huge congrats to Powerhouse! They have some of the best vocals in the nation. I'm sure it was super close between them and Sound FX with the captions being split.

What I like about powerhouse is how out there and avant-garde their shows are they go for it no matter how crazy it is.

For advanced bass, Xtreme swept. For the advanced treble, Sound Sensations won Best Music, but Soundtrax won Best Show and overall first place.
