But yah, I'm not gonna lie Linn-Mar has gotten SOOOO CONFUSING!!! I went to Linn-Mar Middle School and I remember taking tours of the school every time we had a concert there cuz i just got lost every time. So I THOUGHT after visiting the school for like 8 years i had it down....
Then i had to pick up my sister from school this week. OMG I couldn't even find where the parking lot started cuz they moved the entrances, and there are like big metal fences. So I think I'm just gonna walk to Linn-Mar for Supernova. It's really sad when it's confusing to get into one of a school's parking lot...
I had a dream a few nights ago that I was at Burbank's competition (which is odd, because I've never seen even a picture of their school, much less the inside of it, and I wasn't even sure if they *had* a competition or not) and was doing something important there. I think I was helping run the competition, but I'm not sure. At any rate, it was one of those dreams where time seems to pass normally, so I dreamed through every minute of a full 18-hour competition day. The really strange part was that I couldn't breathe for the entire time; like I was in constant respiratory arrest for 18 hours. I remember being scared that I was going to die and making some random band member write out a will for me in the hallway just before I woke up.
I've got to stop drinking coffee before going to bed...

Okay...I never have show choir dreams, but I had my first one in forever the other night. I was in the cafeteria at Linn-Mar and our ballad soloist walked in with another girl from the choir. I could tell she didn't feel well, so I asked, "Taylor, do you feel all right?" And then Taylor projectile vomited right in the middle of my chest. While I was standing there in shock she did it again!
Any of you Freudian psychologists can interpret that one for me.
It might mean that your nervous for Linn-Mar, or it might be an indication that something isnt going to go too well....>.<

I have really odd show choir dreams before our season starts. Last year I had a dream that the judges hated us so much they threw a HUGE quilt over the entire stage so no one would have to look at Company... I won't even talk about the dreams I've had this year.
i had a dream last night that Totino grace's entire show choir and band went on oprah and did a show.... then dr phil came out and tried to tell totino that they couldn't sing and that they should all find real things to do with their lives... at which point ana beat the hell out of him... then the it turned into a scene from FAME... where like everyone's just dancing and singing but it's total chaos... I dunno... i'm obviously excited for show choir to start....
All the groups competing in the varsity have a chance at winning. It is so refreshing to come to a competition like this. I can't wait. There's only 8 days left...
Gosh this is goin to be amazing!! all 3 groups are soo good!! Urbandale was amazing last year and I loved there show! I have not seen ankeny, but i guess i could find it on youtube lol, but i have heard that they are very very good!!
I can not wait for this comp it is goin to be amazing!!

They are renovating the school bringing it up to date. They are reconfiguring where classrooms are at. So that the school can be better used, and hold more students. Along with moving rooms and offices they are in the process of building a new Music wing behind the auditorium.
Mr. Anderson, if you're listening, go call Comprehensive Sound Services or somebody and get videos available. This is one of the most competitive competitions in the country now. Let's get some decent recordings of it!
Easier said than done. I've heard it costs an arm and a leg to have Comprehensive Sound come out and record a competition. Maybe I'm wrong. I just heard that because they looked into having Comprehensive Sound come to "Great River", but it didn't make much financial sense.
Believe it or not there weren't any videos for sale there last year.
That's a crime against humanity as far as I'm concerned.

The question about the construction, and Urbandales room being different. I remember hosting Urbandale when i was in Tenth Street and the area that was your room when i hosted you guys part of it is being turned into a hallway in the 9th grade hallway so it might affect your home room. But chelsea would know more about the room placements then i would.
