Super strong shows representing show choirs from across the country! I don't think anyone has a lock on Grand Champ or 1RU. It's definitely a "livestream" day!
Posting because my last post wasn’t really a prediction. I know this may be a hot take and take into account my bias. I think that overall, these groups have a good chance at making finals. I’d have Keller Central in 5RU. I don’t have them higher just because I’m not as familiar with them/the Texas show choir circuit. I agree with Will: I think that Centergrove is going to turn things around and come out on top. I think that VIBE’s show has gotten extremely strong and will definitely be something to look out for. Like I said before, I’m confident Carmel abs CG will be end top two, but 2RU and below will be a toss up.
This competition is going to be very interesting. I think that Center Grove and Carmel have 1st and 2nd secured. While Carmel beat CG earlier this season, I could see that not being the case here. ATSC definitely has a secured spot in finals as their show is very strong this year. Then you have a group like Daniel Hand (obviously I’m bias) who’s now using Josh Green for arrangements and show design this year and came in right behind ATSC last year at HOA Live. Troy and Carmel Accents of course who have beaten their own mixed group.. I think there are so many strong groups competing and the outcome is very up in the air. Should be a good competition!
I’m sure this is typical for a Heart of America show, every tier I group has at least one Grand Champion placement this year. Can’t wait to see it in person! If you aren’t going to Orlando this is definitely worth the livestream.
