Hope Southwest kills it in Nebraska. Their shows have a hip hop flavor to them that is a little different than the typical Midwest show. Texas is developing some really high energy groups to compete with Voices of Central:

Thank you Southwest for hosting this competition. It would have been easy for them to cancel with a trip to Nebraska the next morning. Since Texas has so few competitions, really needed this to take place.

New schedule is posted. Middle school awards will be at 2:15. Southwest Effect will perform in exhibition at 6:20, with high school awards to follow. This is shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend for Southwest, who will host this competition on Friday, drive overnight to Nebraska, and compete on Saturday at Millard North! Can't say I've ever heard of that happening before.

The Friday middle school portion of this event has been postponed due to weather. The Saturday high school schedule times have also been pushed back.

6:30 pm - Southwest Effect exhibition & preliminary awards
8:00-9:40 pm - 6 Finalists Perform
10:00 pm - Final Awards
