Huge thank you to all the students/directors/volunteers who made this such an enjoyable event. I was honored to share the stage with so many fantastic young people.
In finals, there were three of the judges from the vocal jazz competition that were added to the panel, for a total of 9 scoring judges in finals.
All of the groups really knocked it out of the park in finals. The energy and enthusiasm was off the charts, and I know each group left it all on the stage in their performance. I am so proud of each person who gave everything they had to SHAKE THE LAKES!
Let's do it all again next year, fam!
On behalf of all of us at Thirst Project, we want to humbly thank Spirit Lake. Your competition raised over TWO-THOUSAND DOLLARS, to give more than EIGHTY people in the African nation of Eswatini, clean water for life!! Because of the compassion and generosity of your audiences, and because Mr Miller and his team cared enough to do this, lives will be forever changed, and some lives will actually be saved! God bless you guys, and thank you!
***If any school reading this, would like to join the Show Choirs For Thirst and Thirst Project movement, please e-mail me at [email protected]. More than 60 show choir schools have combined to raise over $350,000 since 2017, giving approximately 15,000 precious, suffering humans, the basic human right of clean water for life!! We are the power of show choir to change the world!!
