We really did step it up. But as soon as we walked off that stage in the day round we all felt really crappy about our performance and knew that it could be better. Plus it was an unknown performance venue for us and the stage was really shaky and the mic stands were really wobbly(one even fell over in our daytime performance) but props to Sauk for getting new mic stands out there because those were so much better. And finals was AWESOME. The energy was really flowing and we just put on our game faces becasue we knew we wantted to be and deserved to be up there. So that might also solve a little confusion in the "How did that jump up so much" category. We had a terrible(in our minds) daytime performance!
congrats to everyone! especially to Madison East pulling off the choreo upset! i also would like to know judging.... some weird stuff went on! also major props to Sioux City East who musta had a killer performance in finals! 6th to 2nd! good job!

I think she means after finals...that we actually tied for 5th runner-up, since there shouldn't have really been a 6th runner-up but because of the tie before finals, there was, in a way....if that makes any sense lol
But because we did have 7 groups going into finals, technically it was a tie between east and mayville because normally there isn't a sixth runner up announced at the end of the night.
not sure on the judges thing..but i can ask tomorrow if no one finds out by then!

So in day round there was a tie that added an extra group into finals? And then in night round there was a tie for 5th Runner Up between Madison East who received BEST CHOREOGRAPHY and Mayville?
WOW! What an awesome conpetion(a little hot-a lot hot) but a really neat competion! The culver's ice cream "custard" rocked and THANX for everything! Everyone was so goodthere today congratulations to everyone that performed I saw a lot of groups and was highly impressed/nervous the entire day. So yea rock on!
P.S. Sauk Praire your guy's show was so different but AWESOME! The choreo was so clean the the vocals rocked! I loved being able to watch it two times in one day! ROCK ON!
sooo..... let me start out with a congrats to ALL of the people that performed at our school today. it was truly a luxury having you come to our school. we all know its a hectic day, but it sure does pay off. i was highly impressed by all of the groups that i got a chance to see today!
i want to make a shoutout to brodhead guys and dolls and sioux city.
seriously....AMAZING. I couldn't have been more impressed with your performances! Brodhead I seriously went crazy with, couldn't stop smiling. Ona, I didn't get to see you guys, but its obvious that you did fanTAstic!
Congrats to all the class a winners and womens division- holmen magic!!! wooo i was their host, how great do i feel? haha .
I was in the biggest show choir mood tonight it was disgusting. trust me.
i probably told brodhead that i loved them 100 times.

i hope everyone had a good time at our compeition. we try to please our guests as best as possible. although i would have rather been competing somewhere (because competing is terrific!), it was such a fun, long day. thank you for your hard work and dedication to what you do! It doesn't matter who the winner is, you all poured your hearts into it.
