TOP TEN REASONS TO BE A PART OF THE 2022 CARROLL CLASSIC BEING HELD ON FEBRUARY 11th AND 12th
• New Championship Format – Single gender and mixed choirs will be cheering each other on like never before. Schools will compete to become the first ever Combined Grand Champion. Scores from each school’s single gender and mixed choir will be added together to arrive at a combined score. The school having the highest combined score will become the inaugural Combined Grand Champions. Combined Grand Champions will be awarded for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 divisions.
• Grand Champion Awards – Grand Champions named for Single gender, Tier 1 mixed, and Tier 2 mixed.
• Top Competition – We have entries from some of the top choirs in the state and spots
are filing up quickly.
• Exemplary Judge’s Panel – Carroll prides itself on assembling a panel of judges from around the country who are well respected choir directors, choreographers, and clinicians.
• Spacious Stage – Carroll’s stage is 48 feet wide and 35 feet deep with wings providing an additional 20 feet of width on each side. Space is never an issue.
• Professional Sound – Carroll provides a professional sound system consisting of 5 wireless mics, 4 wired mics, 7 overhead mics, 4 monitors, two mixers in the front, two mixers in the back, and a director dedicated monitor. Directors are encouraged to work closely with the sound technician to ensure the sound system is utilized to meet their choirs’ needs.
• No timing – Carroll’s experienced stage crew will help make your set-up and tear down go smoothly without worry of a time penalty. Our stage crew’s only goal is to help choirs put on the best show possible.
• Legendary Hospitality Room – From home made pecan cinnamon rolls and casseroles for breakfast, to chicken and noodles and green beans for lunch, our hospitality room receives rave reviews and compliments from directors, staff, and bus drivers.
• Cafeteria – Made to order Mexican, Chic-fil-A, fresh made salads and more, we have something for every appetite. No one goes hungry at the Classic.
• Support Receive Complimentary Admission – No need to worry about your stage dads/moms and chaperones having to pay. We understand your choirs couldn’t do what they do without volunteers, and we do not believe they should have to pay.
We hope you will join us as we strive to make the 2022 Carroll Classic the pinnacle of your 2022 competition season. Please go to carrollshowchoirs.org, email Jill Jeran ([email protected]) and Eric Smead ([email protected]), or call (260)637-3161.
As one of the judges, I just want to say a couple things. First, the Carroll staff, parents, and students did an incredible job of hosting a fantastic event. As a panel, we thoroughly enjoyed the day, and couldn't have asked for a better event. Secondly, the quality of shows this year has been nothing short of amazing! In the midst of a year beset by so many hurdles and challenges, the talent and passion of performers was something we all marveled at. Overall, a beautiful day of show choir!

Thank you so much for making room for our kids at the last minute and being phenomenal hosts! Your parents/volunteers were genuinely nice and helpful and your students were fun and encouraging. We are grateful for your hospitality and the opportunity to complete our season.
The Carroll parents and students were wonderful hosts today! They bent over backwards to help us with everything we needed and made us feel so welcome. After the crazy last 48 hours of having to change comps and all of our plans, I didn't know what to expect today. As the parent of a Fishers senior, I am incredibly grateful that they made this last competition happen for us today!
We were happy to accommodate Fishers. Our Seniors didn’t get their last competition last year and we know how upsetting it was. Wonderful job today Fishers! We hope you will come back.
