This competition is still a handful of weeks away, but is there any word on how the recent Ohio bans will affect this event? I’m hoping to be able to compete one last time here

I haven't been involved since 2011, but I can answer some questions about this year. We are taking 6 finalists. Single Gender groups are elegible for finals. We will take the top 6 groups according to raw scores. And kudos to Jeff! You saved me a lot of looking up for the years I missed.

Does anyone know what caption awards are offered at this competition other than best vocals, choreo, and band if there are any?

In past years, caption awards have included:
Best vocals
Best choreography
Best band
Best crew
Best female soloist
Best male soloist
Best show concept
Best costumes
...and last year, they added the “heart of music award”

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is the first time since 2014 that six finalists will be taken! While it's bittersweet, I am ecstatic to end my show choir experience at this competition.
