Did something go terribly wrong with The Spotlighters and Sound? I love both of those groups, and it’s sad they didn’t fare well even though they were predicted to place. Welp, congratulations to everyone on their placements! Very well deserved!!!

I thought both looked and sounded great, there were just a lot of good groups there so unfortunately they couldn’t all move on

So sorry I butchered your name! It was hard to decipher what was being said over the live stream. Congrats on the best female soloist award!

Yes, these are the final results. Sorry! I’d also like to point out that someone responded to an earlier comment of mine with the names of two soloists that won awards today.

Interesting that both Mundelein prep groups were mostly varsity kids (especially the men’s group). This must be a competition that allows varsity kids to compete in the prep division...,

Single gender is not prep.

I think she is comparing it to the Hastings competition where any group, prep or single gender, that has a member of a varsity group performing has to compete as a varsity group, if I am not mistaken.

Gotcha. Having an all women’s group we know that when we see Mundelein or Totino Grace on the docket we are going to see some great single gender groups! Always fun.

What happened to the audio on the live stream? It got blown out during Vocalmotive’s soloist or something and now it’s muffled and a much worse quality than it was before...

Anyone know why we can no longer view the first video, had family wanting to watch my son perform. Last weekends competition video is still available...so just curious why this one is not? Can it be reposted possibly???

YouTube took them down. Copyright error message came up for me. Such a disappointment!

Does anyone know if the live streams will be uploaded anywhere to watch later? I see the fist afternoon session live stream was taken down by YouTube. Bummer!
