Yes, Glenwood and Waubonsie Valley Sound Check have switched performance spots - WV is now performing at 2:45 and Glenwood at 3:30. Everything else remains the same.
I think Wheaton North has a good shot here. They had a fantastic performance at Johnston, one that would have earned them 1st place almost anywhere else. They also sing INCREDIBLY well. Pretty confident they'll end up 1st or 2nd, but anything can happen!
GC: Titan Fever
1RU: Zion
2RU: Flight
3RU: WWS
4RU: Waubonsie
5RU: Sound
BV: Zion or Glenwood
BC: Glenwood
BB: WWS or Sound
This could go anywhere. I tried formulating this strictly on what I've seen in person so far and a little bit of stats of this season. Not that many of these groups have scored a GC this year, and that's a lot of these groups' norms, so they'll all be FIGHTING for it.
SG
GC: Esprit
1RU: Lights
2RU: SoundFX
3RU: Girls in Heels
I think ANY of these groups could take the top spot. Esprit is the obvious choice, being reigning titans since forever. But I saw Lights at Fort Atkinson last week, and I think they could sneak by the WWS girls. Likely not, though. At the same time, I think the Mundelein boys could take down their girls or similarly WWS, as their choreography is on another level, they just have time at their disadvantage. As for WV, I'm confident in wear I placed them, but they had a strong first competition.
The team at Thirst Project is so grateful to the Naperville North family for supporting our work at your competition. We cannot thank you enough for the tremendous work you have already done to save lives and change futures. You guys rock!
