I sure hope showchoir.com's competition status doesn't control your group's feeling of accomplishment. It's been the standing tradition on this site that if your group is the only group in a division it is listed as non-competitive. Enjoy your win regardless of how it's listed.

Lisa - we surely don't doubt that FAME provided a trophy for YTBN as "Grand Champion" of their division at this contest. We hope it was a wonderful trip. On SCC, we do list non-competitive divisions as such and that isn't a slight at YTBN - it's a reflection of the event structure itself. You acknowledged it in your own post, so I hope that makes sense. Nonetheless, the YTBN profile page still looks very pretty with all those competitive first place finishes this year.

Finals were Rhythm of the Knight, Rebelaires, Exec Session. Waiting to hear finals results.

Uniondale took GC, Exec Session 1st runner up, Rebelaires 2nd runner up. YTBN took GC for Single-Gender group.

Very proud of my Tarpon peeps. You guys worked tirelessly this year, and it was an honor to be a part of your journey. I hope you truly embraced and enjoyed your performance on such an iconic and fantastic stage. So glad that FAME gives groups the opportunity to perform on a fantastic stage like this!! And I also hope you know how much I love you guys, and how blessed I feel to be part of your lives. God bless and see you in September! Damon
