Have to shout out Kudos to the stage manager of this event who is retiring after this year. He is amazing. Kept the prelims on track and was the first comp I’ve been to this year where the announced time for awards was the exact time! Way to go!!

This is gonna be an interesting one for sure! I could see any of my top 3 even 4 taking it. Any of these placements could also switch around a bit. I could also see Reedsburg, Hamilton or Green Bay East making finals. Best of luck to everybody!

Almost positive the bigger schools will win 1st and 2nd, they always do, must be fixed as I have watched performances the last four Saturdays and they aren't any better then the smaller schools. But, let's not rule out Reedsburg, they are fantastic, the voices, choreography and unison of the group is superb! Most of these schools do theatrical plays/performances not a choir! Get it right judges.
As a show choir parent myself I would hesitate to jump to the “competition must be fixed” because the schools are bigger. It can be viewed as insulting to all the kids at every school who bust their butt every week and are left to the subjectivity of a group of judges who have much more knowledge than myself and most every parent. I have been at two of the competitions with Reedsburg this year and can tell you the Grand Champion at both of those competitions has a lower school enrollment than Reedsburg does so hopefully this may help ease your concern of it being “fixed” and the small schools do have just as good a chance.
