Could not really hear every award but what I got from it was:

Large Mixed:
Spotlight - 1st Place BV, Best Costumes
Knight Scene - 2nd Place BC

Large Single-Gender
Cosby Rhapsody - 1st Place BV, BC, Best Costumes
Knightingales - 2nd Place

Small Mixed:
Bishop Hendricken - 1st BV, BC, Best Costumes. Best Set Design

Dear Choral Colleagues.

Thank you to those of you who participated in the 2018 Clash of Choirs. We are so excited to host this wonderful event in 2019 and hope that you will consider participating! The guidelines are listed below. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions! Please submit your registration form online or mail it in.

Online Registration

You are cordially invited to participate in Menchville’s Clash of Choirs Show Choir Competition. Spaces are incredibly limited as this is a one-day event, so please don’t wait to get your forms in!

February 16, 2019
Single-Gender Small Division
Single-Gender Large Division
Open Division
Mixed Small Division
Mixed Large Division

Division Qualifications:
Open Division: (If Necessary based on registrations)
Any Choir that does not fall into the confines of “Small” or “Large” Division

Small Division:
36 Members or Less
New Director
Choirs who have competed less than 5 years

Large Division:
37 Members of More
Established group that have received Superior and Excellent Ratings at festivals and competitions.

Show Choir Logistics:
·Each choir will be asked to provide a signed waiver for the rights of the music being performed.
·Each choir will be provided with one room for single-gender, and two rooms (One Male, One Female) for Mixed
·30 Minute Warm up
·30 Minutes for set-up, performance, and breakdown of stage
·Judges Critique following performance

Show Choir Awards include:
·Showmanship Medals (male and female for mixed)
·1st, 2nd and 3rd place in every category
·Grand Champion of Small Division will be between the Single-Gender and Mixed Small Division
·Grand Champion of Large Division will be between the Single-Gender and Mixed Large Division
· Specialty awards in each category: Best Choreography, Best Vocals, Best Show Design, Best Costumes, People’s Choice, Best Stage Crew, Best Show Band, and Outstanding Sportsmanship, Loudest Roar
·Best overall Male and Female Soloist
