An updated schedule is posted above. Austin is no longer attending and so some times changed within Tier II. Carmel MS and Austin MS are both no longer attending either and the middle school division has been removed. Everything else is still the same.

Another updated schedule is posted above. Huntington North switched over from Homestead and so several performance times changed. Everything has been adjusted above. Debtones are also now at 12 pm.

will Fishers be competing in Tier II? . . . because they've been competing in Tier I so far this season

I heard from people that they will be in 1, but it hasn't changed...

I was sitting next to a Fisher's parent last weekend at Franklin Community, and she said they were going to be reclassified by ISSMA as a Large Mixed group next year. According to this parent, they were trying this year as a test year to see what sort of caliber of competition they were up against, and to see adjudicators were looking for (opposed to Small Mixed).

Take that as you will.

Also this is their last year as a “new choir” because several competitions allow choirs that are younger than 3 years to perform in small mixed. Next year they wil definitely be competing in the large mixed division.

I’m not sure. I just remember them Tier 2 last year.

I think they are still competing under tier 2. But they might change depending on how confident they feel with their set.

I believe they will actually be competeing in tier 1, the have grown in numbers and a few members of the group said there director is ready to make the jump to compete in tier 1 consistently.

Oh I see. Do you know the rest of their competition schedule?

I can always ask people in the choir since I used to be in it, but I know they are going to Franklin Community, Plainfield and Center Grove. There might be more but I'm not sure.

I heard some speculation from my choir director that they were thinking about going to our competiton in Shelbyville. I was just curious. Thanks!

I believe Electrum is also going to Avon, not Shelbyville.
