FYI to those who didn't get to watch in person or via live stream (or want to watch again), it appears the streaming company is keeping it 'On Demand' for the time being!

Because it’s a free stream, the stream can be archived without any threat of copyright, which is pretty awesome. However I think they may be taking it down sometime next week just to preserve the secrecy of the shows (a whole other issue entirely that we don’t need to get into) So if anyone hasn’t seen the stream, finals in particular, now’s your chance. It’s definitely worth a watch. Every show blew me away, and was unique in its own way. Probably my favorite Showzam of the past few years!

Always a treat to see April James choreography. IMO, Spectrum had the most interesting and original choreo. That said, Studio is really clean. Difficulty adjusted, I'd give choreo to Spectrum and GC to Studio. Also repping well is my hometown Millennium crew who will round out top 3. Best of luck to all.

April James is one of the most the biggest names in show choir, also choreographing for Burbank, Clinton, and others. The idea that some judges "just won't buy into" what she does seems like a silly comment to me. But that is just my opinion.

Congrats to all groups. Iowa show choir is fire this year

Having watched the livestream, the one thing is I was a little underwhelmed by James' choreography this year. 2017 and 2018 her choreo was phenomenal and intense for the students, which really displayed their abilities. This year, there were moments of that, but other times I wishing for more. I like that she is pushing her boundaries for something new, but I really love the intensity she brings.

My comments are my own and have no connection to anyone else involved in this activity. I am sorry if they are not welcome.

All comments are welcome - show choir is a national activity and with just about everything in the world, there are lots of different opinions out there!

Your comments are welcome! You are entitled to your opinion. I just disagreed with you and felt like saying so, haha. Didn't mean to come on too strong or anything. Pax

How many schools can realistically count on placing two Mixed choirs in the finals of a top level competition? It really is #kndofathing
