Very surprising. I definitely wouldn't have put Bemidji ahead of Hastings or Atsc.

Predictions!
GC; ATSC
1RU: Bemidji
2RU: Hastings
3RU: Waconia
4RU: Logan
5RU; Holmen/Milton/De Pere
I don't like putting my own mixed group down, but after Logan's amazing 7 cap win at Parkview, I can honestly and firmly say that Logan has the capability to beat Holmen. If my Holmen friends are reading this, then if you want to do well and even make it finals (Which will be difficult this year!), then STEP IT UP! As for ATSC Bemidji, and Hastings, all three of them are AMAZING groups to watch, and this will be my first time watching ATSC in person. As much as I've heard about them being an awesome group, I firmly hope that they do take GC home with them! (But of course, I wish the other groups luck!!)
Prep Predictions;
GC; Waconia
1RU; Hastings
2RU; Milton
Women's Predictions;
GC: Omaha
1RU; Holmen (Fingers crossed!)
2RU; Hastings/Milton

Directors that try to control what their former students post on showchoir.com are, without exception, @**holes and your response to that very polite prediction is a wonderful example.

A current student bashing the group doesn’t really give the greatest image...

I believe it is acceptable and understood that directors want to maintain the best image for their groups and schools, but I would also like to stress that groups and schools should not be held in the light cast by a single student, parent, director, or associated fan regardless of the context in which a comment is made. One person's outlook is simply that - One person's outlook.

@fink53050 I don't think your response is exactly polite either...

I thought it was an alumni. Got confused by the 3 year seniors picture. My bad on that.
Either way, I think she’s made a reasonable prediction and she did it politely. I think it’s bad in a whole bunch of different words for the director to be demanding she takes it down “immediately”. Maybe shouldn’t have used the wording I did but in my experience people who try to censor things like that for whatever reason generally are,

Okay. I apologize if this seemed like it was going the wrong way. I have given my honest opinion with making it the most polite way possible. I will admit, I love my Express group. They’re amazing and I hope that they continue to improve over this season. However, I’m also keeping note of other groups that are amazing, and I’m also basing off of last seasons outlooks. I’m sorry if I seemed like I was belittling Midwest Express, but I’m also predicting the other amazing groups that are here today. I will not keep my opinions to myself, and I have the rights to say who I think will win tonight. I would appreciate also if our director could not be called such names by others, as I do respect him as an amazing director that I have had two years in a row. Im being as polite as I can, as I was just shown everything a few minutes ago. Good luck to everyone competing today, and who knows? Maybe a surprise move will blow my predictions off the waters?
