This could be really interesting. With the Chaparral and Show Choir Canada fiascos, Burbank is going to be out for blood, hoping to redeem what has been a disappointing competition season. On the other hand, Los Alamitos is riding high over the huge HOA Orlando win. Did Los Al leave it all in Florida? Might they take a win for granted here and let their performance slip? Throw in what's always been a stellar home performance by Powerhouse, and this could arguably be the best night of show choir this year.

Hello everyone...Burroughs Music Showcase is almost upon us! We've very excited to host such an incredible line-up of choirs.

FYI...Los Alamitos Sound Trax IS competing on Friday night...I believe that Aberdeen Central is listed by mistake in their slot. There are also a couple of schedule changes that we are ironing out. We will send an updated final schedule asap so it can be posted here.

There will be a free livestream of this event (www.youtube.com/jbhsvmalive). Unfortunately this will not be the insane production of HOA Orlando (bow down to Haakon and the team), but we have an awesome parent who is going to do his best to keep that stream going for the entire two days. If we have any problems, we'll do our best to fix them. We've been troubleshooting at our regular shows, so hopefully it goes smoothly.

Tickets available at: www.burroughsmusicshowcase.org

We hope to see many of you there!

THANK YOU for going through the trouble to get a livestream! Myself and maybe a few others will be watching from Colorado.

I predict that Los Al will win their division. Since I’m not from this region, I don’t really understand the caption awards. So I won’t bother with them.

Music and show are just basically vocals and choreo. It's not that crazy.

I think Kalcoh is saying that the prediction is interesting because Los Alamitos has swept all of their competitions.

Bold but interesting we will see but as always two great groups going head to head is always exciting no matter who’s won previously

I wouldn’t say that... It *is* California. Anything can (and does) happen.

That's true, but the Burroughs competition tends to be the most straightforward of any of the events on the west coast.

I didn’t know my opinion would spark this lol my prediction probably isn’t right but I really like Burbank so that’s why I predicted them to win

It’s a bold prediction, but I could actually possibly see this happening. I guess we’ll have to wait and see! :D
