Predictions from watching live feed -
GC - Los Alamitos (Visuals)
1RU - Franklin Central (Vocals/Band)
2RU - Center Grove
3RU - John Burroughs
4RU - Cedar Rapids Prairie
5RU - Mt. Zion
But honestly, I don’t know. This is such an insane competition.
I really don't know what show y'all were watching during Powerhouse But I agree this'll be crazy close. Hopefully we can get a full score breakdown after awards
Im with Alex. Did y'all see PH? lol. Going to have to disagree with every prediction here. Idk anything about captions but from what I saw in the live stream:
GC: Los Al
1RU: Burroughs/Franklin
2RU: Burroughs/Franklin
3RU: CG
4RU: Mt. Zion
5RU: Prairie
A huge thank you to Häakon, Alex, Adam, and all others involved for putting together this AMAZING live stream. It was the best possible thing next to actually being there. I look forward to more events like this in the future!
Predictions after finals (aka the hardest decision I’ve ever made):
GC - Los Alamitos (BC)
1RU - Franklin Central (BV, BB)
2RU - Center Grove
3RU - John Burroughs
4RU - Mt. Zion
5RU - CR Prairie
After watching all the shows, I stand by my initial prediction. Franklin Central had the best vocals of the night from what I heard through the stream, but gosh darn, Los Alamitos had a phenomenal show. Such intricate story telling and overall affect of their show. What a production!!
Haha... no. Powerhouse is up next, then Manchester's host performance, and then the full awards ceremony for all divisions for the day. We still have a little while but boy is it FUN.
Can the cameras PLEASE STAY focused on the center so we can see the entire group?! Especially during their spectacular choreros!! I feel like I missed parts from the groups today because the cameras were moving around!
It's a multi-camera production on purpose. The camera crew isn't intentionally zooming in during dance breaks, but a lot could also be missed if it were just a completely zoomed out center frame shot. I appreciated the camera angles so I could see those CG costume beauties up close. It's also nice when they feature soloists and stuff like that. It is what it is - you just gotta roll with it.
Not to open a can of worms, but as a spectator, this is something I have found frustrating with *some* story shows- some of them focus a lot on certain individuals and singers, at times even during dance breaks. I’m sure it’s hard to decide where to focus as a cameraman.
You should just be able to refresh. The live feed has been going strong all day long. The issue has been individual user's bandwidth limitations for the most part, not anything to do with the feed itself. Try refresh, logging on another device, using cell data instead of wifi, and see if that changes anything.
