Good suggestions Jeff. i've tried all the browsers but i'll make sure everything is updated as well. Appreciate everyone's help! If i get it i'll pass it along grace.
I turned off WiFi on my phone and that did the trick.. the black box did not have the “restricted access...” it asked for payment info. I was able to put in email, password and cc info... so I guess I’m ready to go..
I'm also seeing the black box with the words "content owner has restricted access" . Everyone in the house has turned wi fi off their phones and I've tried refreshing the page several times. I turned wi fi back on my phone and tried to access the www.showchoir.com/live/ to buy access that way, since alexanderhall below says that worked, but the restricted access message is still showing.
thank you Alex! I re-tried on my phone, turning off wi fi and using cellular data, and it WORKED!! (for others: clearing my browsing history and trying a different search engine hadn't worked on my computer.)
This is odd. I haven't experienced a single issue with the black screen/grey box and I'm not seeing any of those error messages y'all are reporting. I've tested it on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer, on my Macbook and PC, and via mobile. Have you tried clearing your cache? Have you tried different browsers? Is your browser and flash updated? This seems to be an individual issue rather than a live feed issue. I'm not really sure... :/
I waited to purchase my ticket until I heard folks were having issues just to see if I would come across them as well. But alas, I did not encounter any. Just purchased a few minutes ago. I guess my only advice would be more of the same. Clearing browser caches, updating Chrome if that is your browser of choice, logging out of SCC, etc. Bummer :/
Haakon also suggests making sure you’re not behind some kind of firewall, on a VPN, or outside of the US. (The broadcast is restricted internationally) He also suggests trying from a cellphone using the cell network (not WiFi) and seeing if that works.
