I cannot wait to watch this stream tomorrow. This competitions is easily the most stacked competition ever. The only thing for me that hasn't changed is Franklin Central. After hearing them at Crystal Classic I am about 85% positive they'll win and get best vocals. But it's show choir and with the craziness of this year anything can happen. I would not like to be in the judges shoes at this competition. Best of luck to everyone!

Any reason for putting Center Grove so high? I saw their show and thought Franklin Central had a far superior set, plus Center Grove placed 3rd in a comp....
Burroughs hasn't received 3RU in nine years and I definitely don't see this season being any different Even back then it was a huge surprise and they were also competing in early February (which we know is an enemy of California schools.) The top four this weekend are definitely the hardest to place, but I think you can expect to see both of our groups full of friends from the West Coast to be placing in the top two or three (especially with this judging panel) Groups like Burroughs and Los Al not only excel at both singing and dancing compared to other regional powerhouses, but they also repeatedly display varying styles within their sets.
My reason for Burroughs being placed in 3RU is that they lost to Los Alamitos. I have Center Grove so high because of their recent defeat of Glenwood. Before Center Grove beat Glenwood I would have put them as fourth. All together though I am almost certainly wrong, I guess I just root for the choir that hasn't had the best season, yet has been turning it around.
Edit: Another point is that Tony Ateinza seems to like Indiana groups, as he had Carmel beating Clinton at Los Alamitos.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Burroughs from anywhere from 1st to 4th, but someone has to come in 4th. The top 4 here is about as strong as anywhere this year.
Alex just for the sake of argumentation (Burroughs is my favorite choir , especially 2012 and 2015 sets) I saw their pop show performance since it’s the only video available, and I’ll just say they have some work to do. It’s impressive as always, but I saw some minor choreography and blocking issues. However, their biggest issue is transitions. So many people were rushing as fast as possible, not transitioning with purpose (which is characteristic of them), and people just missed getting to their spots on time. They have to fix that in order to do amazing. Vocal and Choreography wise they got it in the bag.
I guess I'll just have to politely disagree. I think they're where most groups are at this point Transitions isn't on some scoresheets and when it is it's only a single 10-pt category. They sound GREAT from what I heard on the Pop Show video, and I am definitely excited to see how Saturday unfolds. I love the discussion - Keep it coming!
Aye I agree their vocals are on par. It’s just, if it is a category it’s simething they’ll want all ten points in easily. Especially since I’m thinking the top 4 (or top 6) could honestly differ by single digits or half points...
I’m sorry but no. As good as glenwood is that can’t be the measurement. CG isn’t nearing FC. FC is singing circles around every group they’ve competed against. With changes they’ve made to their show, it’s just not happening. As an Indiana show choir alum, I’d love for both FC & CG to dominate but comparatively, top three is Los Al, JB & FC. Everyone is entitled to their opinion it shall be a very interesting competition. Best of look to everyone !
I’m sorry but yes there are a ton of amazing show choirs competing and and you truly never know how a competition like this could really go. The only thing we can know for sure... the livestream will be amazing
After watching center groves show this year in Indiana .... they were actually really good. And even though they placed third in a comp doesn't mean they can't come back and beat the people they lost too.
