So nice to get to SEE Wheaton North’s show! Both Twinsburg and Wheaton North were AWESOME! Looking forward to the rest.

So basically, one judge of five was able to prevent Waubonsie from making the finals? That's screwed up...

Edited to add - Waubonsie may not be at the level they were a couple of years ago, but there is no way that they should have been placed last. Not to take away from any other group, but that is just not accurate based on today's performances.

Everyone here is SHOOK at these results as am I! But this competition from the beginning was going to neck and neck so I don’t disagree with these results. I’m sad that not all the teams can make finals because everyone was so good! But it is how it is and I’m so happy for all the teams that competed!
(Also: LETS GO WACONIA!! REPRESENTING MINNESOTA!! I LOVE YOUR SHOW!)
All in all, this outcome from the competition is going be something really shocking! And I’m excited to see how this plays out! Good luck finalists! and GREAT job to everyone that performed!

If I remember correctly, this will be the first time Waubonsie will be left out of finals since 2006. Amazing job by all the groups this morning! Really unbelievable talent

Adding on, Waubonsie Valley entered this comp the five-time defending Choral Classic Grand Champ. If all our records are accurate on here, WV had won every single Choral Classic they ever attended (8 out of 8) winning BV/BC at all of them except 2013 when Clinton took BC. Sure they missed finals tonight, but what a phenomenal program. No one else had been as dominant as WV over the past several years and that, itself, wasn't lost tonight.

It's pretty incredible that Waubonsie was the last group to defeat Clinton. I think they've struggled in the past couple years after Mark Myers left, but they still have very entertaining shows. There's an incredible amount of talent at that school.

Though not as dominant a group this reminds me of the year Marysville and Twinsburg competed at Wheaton and neither made finals. Broken Arrow and Waubonsie not making finals is insane. But with a comp like this it’s unpredictable really. Also congrats to the Ohio groups representing

I know in past years, after the comp we're able to rewatch the competition and play it back. Are they still going to do that this year? I missed the prelims...

Don’t be surprised if there was a tabulation error. I don’t see how Broken Arrow missed finals.

I don’t know if it was different on the feed than in person but I couldn’t hear Broken Arrow or understand what they were saying a lot of the time. Ballad was amazing though!
