At any rate, all of these non-comps that are taking place this year are most likely not going to have any bearing on My Rankings anyways. I am mostly just trying to keep up with all of the new names that have been making a showing.
Just to briefly circle back, this did happen. The Arlington Showcase has actually been happening for several years with the majority of high schools in the district attending. I believe they earn a rating of some sort, but altogether it isn't a competitive event with placements.
Link is included above if anyone wants to watch any of the shows. Show choir in Texas is still young and growing compared to other areas. Nonetheless, we still want to capture events like this and hopefully some day in the near future TX students themselves will be on here chatting about it.
